Soccer Recap-Personal Project

Overview:

In this project, Matt Vanderslice and I interviewed different seniors on the soccer team, and got some of their input on the season.

Process: 

To start this project, we had to find out who we wanted to interview, and what questions we wanted to ask them. Once we got that figured out, we could start forming a story and finding the right shots to go along with the story. 

Take away:

I learned a couple of things from this process. One could be that we could ask the interviewees a more variety of questions, so then we would have more sound bites to use. I also learned that when the wind is blowing, it can sometimes mess up the sound of the mic so we have to be cautious of where and when we film. Professionally, I really didn't have any problems working with Matt, we got the story done quickly and the whole process was easy. I wouldn't change much from this project, I think it turned out nicely. We could've asked more questions to make the story longer but I think we accomplished what we were hoping for. 

ONW Soccer Regionals

Overview:

This was a video story of the Boys soccer team competing in regionals against the Shawnee Mission West Vikings. 

The game was intense throughout and the Ravens were finally able to get on the board early in the second half. Chase Klusman would later out the game out of hand for the Vikings late in the second half, putting a penalty kick in the top right corner past the goalie.

Congratulations to the Ravens on being able to move past the Vikings, and good luck to them as they continue on through regionals.
